From Royal Philips to 1.5 Billion Devices
Omni Devices was born from Royal Philips — inheriting decades of engineering rigour, quality management discipline, and a culture of invention. Since 1990, we have manufactured over 1.5 billion devices for some of the world's most demanding customers.
Our heritage is in control solutions — the devices in the hands of customers at Sky, BT, Vodafone, AT&T, and dozens of the world's largest connected device brands. We have shipped over 100 devices every minute, built 26 SMT lines across five countries, and earned 200+ patents across six technology domains.
BuiltbyOmni is the next chapter — the same capabilities, certifications, and partnership mindset, now available to innovators in trackers, smart home, and healthcare.
Founded as part of Philips in Singapore, inheriting Philips' engineering rigour, quality management processes, and decades of electronics innovation.
Restructured as Home Control Singapore Pte Ltd — beginning the transition to independence from Philips and setting the stage for private ownership.
Divested from Philips and acquired by Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia. Rebranded as Omni Remotes, operating as an independent company for the first time.
Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, marking a significant milestone in the company's financial development and global profile.
Rick Siu appointed CEO in March 2024. Company rebranded as Omni Devices in December 2024, reflecting a broadened product and market scope beyond remote controls.
